while doing a production run through for our upcoming music video at the Glass House, Pomona, we wondered into the backstage area, where last night OFWGKTA played a sold out show. The guys left some souvenirs for the janitors but also left us a little surprise.

thanks for the roach!

Its now February and the ball is continuing to roll in the right direction.

We just got back from Europe and already our year is filled with events.  Its nice to come back with the fresh approach to our ever growing need for musical experimentation.  I think i speak on behalf of the group when i say we are addicted to this on going pursuit.

morose is gearing up to release their debut album in a couple months following the release of their first e.p. self titled which will be re released in the next few weeks.  During this hectic time, we will be  shadowed by a film crew who will be capturing our journey .   Here is the first installment of Sean Sweetman’s documentary.

the project will also be playing tonight on UCLA radio

Tuesday Feb. 1

Livid Instruments

Hello world!

Livid Instruments was founded by Jay Smith, Peter Nyboer, and Travis Redding. They started Livid to turn their interests in alternative interfaces and performance tools into usable real-life products. Livid is dedicated to creating quality and thoughtful products, and manufacture everything in their Austin, Texas facility. Like a custom guitar maker for digital performance, Livid’s products are crafted from fine woods and quality metals, and completely designed, manufactured, and assembled in house. Livid has a growing line of hardware and software instruments, and offers OEM products and custom technology.

I have been using the OHM 64 as a solo artist for over a year now, and wouldn’t have it any other way! It’s the control center and main brain for the live setup of “the morose project”. Here is a video demonstrating all of the Livid products and you can even catch “the project” using it near the end of the video!

Its been a little over a week since we have released our debut e.p. and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with the feedback.  We have began a project that we hope will have something new to offer to the music community.

Stay tuned for more…

We leave you with a sample of where our minds and ears have been lately.

In a fictional world run by theatrics and human rhetoric,

is it possible we have fallen into a skewed reality?
